Drink driver, arrested - 29/7/26

29/7/26, 2am. A drink driver has this morning been arrested for drink drive, having been caught on the A4229 between Cornelly and the M4. Our force traffic units have stopped the driver, who blew 63/35 at the roadside and 47/35 in custody. He was also uninsured , so his vehicle was also seized. The driver was charged in custody and will now face a day in court where at the very least, he will receive a Disqualification and substantial fine, with further points and penalties potentially following the driving without insurance aspect.
